Sleep Apnea Alternative Treatment - Lose Weight Fast Alternative


People looking for a sleep apnea alternative treatment may not realise that losing weight alone could completely eradicate their sleep apnea forever. You may of heard of one particular diet that has been quite popular in the past, and that is the cabbage soup diet.

Many who have tried the cabbage soup diet, it appears have in actual fact managed to lose weight, but it hasn’t always worked out as a long term solution. Why is this? Well for some that have lost weight, they simply got fed up eating cabbage, with the same old boring taste day in, day out.

So in this post I’m Going to consider using the cabbage soup diet idea as a sleep apnea alternative treatment. The idea being that since the cabbage soup diet has proven to successfully make you lose weight, but for some they have had trouble sticking to the diet.

So what I’m going to do is instead of rigidly sticking to the cabbage soup diet alone as a sleep apnea alternative treatment, what I’m going to do is expand on this diet, so that it will be more interesting, by adding different tastes.

So first lets consider the cabbage soup diet. What actually is it? Well here is a recipe list to get you started on your way to losing weight fast.

1. You will need one cabbage, any type of cabbage will do.

2. Get six nice white onions.

3. Now you want six green onions.

4. Two green peppers.

5. Six carrots.

6. Finally one hundred grams of celery.

That’s it. Now to prepare your cabbage soup sleep apnea alternative treatment plan, it’s very easy. All you need is a simple chopping board, and a large cutting knife will make it easier. Now make sure you wash all the ingredient well before you start, then begin cutting the cabbage into quarters. Then lay each on it’s side, and try to shred the cabbage as finely as you can. It’s not really important if you cut it into larger chunks, as the taste won’t be affected.
Take large boiling pot, or soup pot and fling it all in.

Next cut your onions in half, and remove the outer skin, try and be careful to only remove the very most outer dry skin, as the outermost part of the onions contain the most nutrition. Once you’ve done that cut the onion in half, and cut it into small pieces, do the same with all the onions, and fling them in the pot.

Now take your green peppers and cut them in half. Be sure to remove all of the seeds, as these are an irritant, and are not good for you, remove the stalk, and all the white fleshy part as well. There is no need to be over zealous about this, just use your fingers, there is no need to use a knife to remove the seeds, and fleshy part. Now use knife to cut the peppers as finely as you can, so that the soup won’t be too chunky.

Next use a potato peeler to peel the outer part of your carrots. Once you have done this, chop both ends off the carrot, and rinse them under the tap. Then I recommend using a cheese grater to shred the carrots one at a time, it will make the texture of your soup much nicer, but if you don’t want to shred them, that’s ok, you can just cut them into small pieces. Fling everything in the pot.


And finally your celery, lay each stalk flat, chop any rough ends off, and slice it up as finely as you can. Fling your celery into the soup pot, boil a kettle, and pour in boiling water till all your ingredients are covered. Now put a lid on your put to bring it to the boil quickly, otherwise just bring it to the boil.

Once it starts boiling, turn down the heat, and let it simmer for around fifteen minutes or so. That’s it, just add some salt and pepper, according to your taste preference. I always recommend not using salt, and replacing it with chilly powder, as salt gives you high blood pressure, which leads to heart disease.

The beauty of using the cabbage soup diet as a sleep apnea alternative treatment is that you can eat as much of this cabbage soup as you want, and you will lose weight easily. But as I’ve said the trouble with some people is that they get fed up with the taste of cabbage soup all the time, and give up easily.

Another important issue I have with the stand alone cabbage soup diet, is that it is by no means a proper balanced diet, and is lacking in a lot of the essential nutrients that your body needs. It’s ok in short bursts, if you need to lose weight quickly, but for long term maintenance.

I recommend combining it with a nice healthy dinner, to start with, so a typical healthy dinner could be a baked potato, with some butter, or a little cottage cheese. Or a baked potato with some tuna fish, and some light cheddar cheese is delicious. There are tons of healthy dinner ideas, but that will get you started. You can use a large dinner plate, and pile on as much salad as you want.

There is also no need for you to just eat cabbage soup all the time either, with this this plan you can alternate with lot's of other healthy soups, that I don't go into with this post. This is a simple sleep apnea alternative treatment idea is to make you lose weight easily. Enjoy.
