How to cure sleep apnea by losing weight in the face
If you’ve read my other posts on how to cure sleep apnea, you will know that I am highly in favour of using Orofacial Exercises as a way to strengthen the muscle in your neck so that they don’t become limp while you are sleeping, and subsequently stop you breathing.
Whilst these exercises are very effective, combating sleep apnea in more ways than one is surely a strategy that will help you achieve your goal much faster. So in this post I’m going to be looking at losing weight in your face as a technique to cure sleep apnea.
If you are interested in losing weight in your face, you have a particular advantage in your favour, and that is because when you embark on any weight loss plan, the fat in your face is usually the first to go, giving you more confidence socially, and more importantly helping you to cure sleep apnea by easing the pressure around the throat.
How to cure sleep apnea and lose weight in your face food plan
The quickest way to lose weight in your face is to seriously cut back on the carbohydrates and fatty foods, and combine this with regular exercise such as brisk walking.
There is absolutely no need for you to spend any money on weight watchers classes or anything like that in order for you to lose weight in your face. In another post I talk about the cabbage soup diet, the cabbage soup diet on it’s own due to it’s limited nutrients is not advisable in the long term, but the concept is well suited to losing instant weight in your face.
In that post I have written the recipe for the cabbage soup diet as a sleep apnea alternative treatment, so you can get started with it straight away and get losing that weight in your face fast.
The recipe isn’t written in stone though, and that’s the fun thing about food. You can play around with it until your hearts content. Try adding different vegetables that you think you may like. For example you could add in a tin of chopped tomatoes, and maybe some tomato puree to give it a more Mediterranean taste.
In your local supermarket you will find an abundance of herbs, you can add any of them. The only rule to make sure you lose fat in the face, is that you can only eat healthy food. No fries on the side or anything like that. I will be adding lots more recipe ideas in this blog, and all of them will help to lose fat in the face, and help you to cure sleep apnea.
Another magic ingredient that can help you to lose fat in the face is water. It is impossible for you to ever drink too much water, quite often when you are feeling hungry, you are in actual fact feeling thirsty because you are a wee bit dehydrated. The two sensations are actually very similar, so your body can sometimes confuse you into thinking you are hungry, when you were really just thirsty all the time.
So what other foods can you eat to lose weight in the face? Well I’ve already told you what you can’t eat, and for an initial boost to losing weight in the face, I recommend cutting out all carbohydrates altogether.
So that’s no French fries, no potato’s whatsoever in fact, and that includes healthy baked potato’s, no pasta of any description, white or brown, or any other colour. No rice of any shape size or colour. And completely cut out bread whether white or brown. Not forever of course but just to give yourself an initial boost to lose weight in the face.
After a few days to a week or so, you can add a little wholemeal bread, pasta, or rice to your diet. I would stay away from the white variety as those foods have no health benefits whatsoever, they’re only value is that they will keep you alive if you happen to be starving to death.

So in your initial boost to lose weight in the face, to help cure sleep apnea you can have no carbohydrates at all. But you can have some protein in your diet. You can get away with eating quite a lot of protein and still lose weight in the face. I wouldn’t go straight to the patisserie though and consume a whole roast chicken.
They are usually basted in a lot of oil, and that won’t help you much. So you can have protein but if you want to lose weight in your face and really cure sleep apnea you should cut away any visible fats you see in your choice of meat. Of course some meats are very fatty indeed, depending on the cut, but if you really want to play safe, stick to turkey breast as it’s the least fatty of any meat selections out there during your initial boost period.
Just remember only to eat the breast as the rest of the turkey meat is quite fatty. Another similar protein you could try is chicken breast, it is almost as close to turkey for being fat free, but again stick to eating the breast.
So now you know how to cure sleep apnea losing weight in your face dinner up
So all this being said, if you want to lose weight in your face, to help cure sleep apnea, you have quite a broad range of options, limited only by your imagination.
You can have a nice fillet of turkey breast for dinner, accompanied by any vegetable known to man, why not look in your supermarket to see if you can find some pre-prepared Mediterranean peppers onions, and cherry tomatoes, drizzled in a little olive oil, and some herbs.
